jeans' notes from 2009: http://beginningsnew.blogspot.com/2009/01/lesson-2-3-following-example-of-jesus.html
ks's notes are also posted at Feast Upon the Word Blog, so check out their discussion too: http://feastuponthewordblog.org/2012/01/10/some-thoughts-on-1-peter-218-25-from-following-the-example-of-jesus-christ-yw-lesson-3-manual-1/
Highlights from the Resource Guide:
- As we partake of the sacrament every Sunday we are reminded to follow the example of Jesus Christ, but it is sometimes easy to become distracted by worldly influences throughout the week. What can we do to follow Christ’s example all week long?
ks's question: What is the relationship between always remembering Him and following His example? Are we to remember how He lived? Or do we remember His love and grace and that changes your behavior? I'd be inclined toward the latter, but what do you think?
- Dieter F. Uchtdorf, “You Are My Hands,” Ensign
- and Liahona, May 2010, 68–7
Who can forget this talk? Amazing visual image.
- Mary N. Cook, “Be an Example of the Believers,” Ensign and Liahona, Nov. 2010, 80–82.
I love having talks by YW Leaders to choose from too!
Other resources you would suggest to fellow leaders and teachers?
